  • Is MaaxTV™ Android based?

    MaaxTV™ uses own developed OS based on Linux.

  • How many channels does MaaxTV™ offer?

    MaaxTV™ have about 700 preinstalled internet streams found from Internet.

  • How can i add channels?

    On the LN5000HD you can not add channels as the previous model (LN3000).

  • All channels are not available?

    MaaxTV™ have no channels warranty and therefore many channels is limited available.

  • I am missing channels "MBX", "MXX Drama", "MXX Action" and many other channels?

    MaaxTV™ have no channels warranty and therefore many channels is limited available. Many channels are not available in some territories.

  • Can i watch Aljazeera Sport, OSN and ART on the MaaxTV™?

    Aljazeera Sport (1+10), OSN and ART package are Subscription Paytv channels and are NOT available in the MaaxTV™ products.

  • I have found something called "Jailbrake MaaxTV" on forums and want to install it on my MaaxTV™?

    The Jailbrake is an illegal hack to the MaaxTV™ products, usage of this illegal hack will immediately destroy MaaxTV™ product and it is not covered by any support or warranty.

  • I get the message "Network or Device is currently unavailable"?

    Restart your router, ensure that the ethernet network is connected correctly.

    Check network settings:
    1. Select “SETTINGS ” on the main menu and press OK,
    2. Then select “Network” and press OK on the remote control, then select “LAN”, and press OK,
    3. Select “DHCP”, and press OK,
    4. When you see the dialog box please select “Yes” and press OK,
    5. When you see the check mark in the DHCP options, then you have successfully changed the static address to DHCP,
    6. Press Back until you have come to the start screen, and then choose START.

    On the top you need to have the text CONNECTED.

  • The picture is not entirely, black bands appear on the sides?

    Adjust the aspect ratio of your TV to 16:9 format.

  • My remote is not working?

    Make sure batteries are inserted properly and are not discharged, otherwise contact your seller for warranty.

  • The picture freezes and lagging?

    Your internet connection is the reason. If you have high bandwith internet connection it does not mean that the internet peering is high. Before contacting us, check if you have devices connected that consumes high bandwith. If this is the case suspend these activities, otherwise contact your internet provider to check your internet line quality. In some situation it can help to restart or replace the router.

  • No image appears on screen?

    1)Check that the box is it on?
    See if the LED on the front of the box is green. If not check the power supply.

    2) Check that you connect the HDMI or Video cable to your TV?
    Select the TV remote control key "source", "AV", "INPUT".

  • I want the latest firmware?

    The MaaxTV™ automatical retrieve the latest firmware upgrade and prompt a message that ask you if you want to upgrade to latest firmware.

  • Do you offer TRADE-IN for the LN3000 to LN4000?

    We do not offer that, but some reseller do that for a cost. Please contact your local seller for more information.

  • I get the message "Unable to retrieve data from MaaxTV server, please contact support@maaxtv.com"?

    1) Turn OFF/ON your Router.
    2) Go to MaaxTV menu, Choose Settings ---->Factory default ----> Press Full Restore.

  • I get the message "Error retrieving data from server, pls contact support" on Live TV Section?

    1) Turn OFF/ON your Router.
    2) Go to MaaxTV menu, Choose Settings ---->Factory default ----> Press Full Restore.

  • To make factory restore does not help, what can i do more?

    1) Immediately after the box starts reboot, PRESS AND HOLD DOWN THE "OK" KEY for about 20-30 secs(till the screen in (ii) appears).
    2) A screen with heading "System Diagnostics" will appear.
    3) In this, there are different options. Select the option of "FULL RESET OR RESTORE" and then select the first option to reboot your device.

  • My upgrade fail?

    1) Immediately after the box starts reboot, PRESS AND HOLD DOWN THE "OK" KEY for about 20-30 secs(till the screen in (ii) appears).
    2) A screen with heading "System Diagnostics" will appear.
    3) In this, there are different options. Select the option of "BACK TO OLD FIRMWARE" and then select the first option to reboot your device.

    Some channels are blocked in various regions, this is something that can not be resolved or restored.

    The buffering is related to your ISP provider or your router, assure that the port 1935 is open on the Rotuer and try to change the DNS on the device to Google DNS (8.8.8.8).
